Defect

Some brake actuators may have been assembled with a pump containing an O-ring that is damaged and as a result may not operate as intended.

Hazard

If this occurs, under some driving conditions where ABS / TRAC / VSC operation is required, this could result in a loss of vehicle control, which can increase the risk of an accident.

Remedy

Lexus will contact affected owners directly and make arrangements with them to inspect and if necessary replace the ABS actuator. This will be performed free of charge.
