Defect

The threaded connection of the battery ground line may not be designed correctly due to a deviation in the tightening angle monitoring.

Hazard

In the event of a poor system ground of the battery line a temporarily higher transition resistance could lead to the formation of sparks and local heating. This would increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy

Letter will be sent to owners of affected vehicles
