Defect

There have been instances of the steering wheel making contact with the steering column when the steering wheel has been adjusted to its lowest position and is turned at the same time.

Hazard

More effort may be required to turn the steering wheel. Reduced steering capacity may pose a hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

Contact a Scania branch or dealer and make arrangements to have the campaign carried out. Bookings are essential, so the parts can be ordered in for the vehicle.
