Defect

Certain vehicles may have been fitted with bolts in the steering system which are not of the correct specification. Should the bolts fail the attachment of the steering linkages to the axle could be compromised.

Hazard

This condition may potentially result in loss of control of the steering of the vehicle potentially causing an accident.

Remedy

Consumers should contact their nearest authorised dealer to arrange inspection and repairs.
