Defect

The steering rack may have been secured to the vehicle cross member with incorrect bolts.

Hazard

If the incorrect bolts are used they may break. This may result in reduced steering control, posing a potential accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

A letter will be sent to the owners of affected vehicles.
