Due to insufficient tightening torque of the engine’s air compressor cylinder head bolts on affected vehicles, the cylinder head gaskets may sustain damage.
Engine coolant or engine oil may leak into the main air pressure line. In an extreme case, this might lead to air pressure loss, which may result in reduced braking capacity or difficulty changing gears, posing a potential traffic hazard.
A letter will be sent to owners of affected vehicles.
