Defect

A manufacturing fault has been found with the double connecting rod.

Hazard

If the double connecting rod fails it will cause the rear of the motorcycle to drop. Under certain circumstance this may cause the rider to fall from the motorcycle.

Remedy

A letter is being sent to affected owners in order to organise for the replacement part to be fitted free of charge.
