Defect

The engine may experience connecting rod bearing failure due to engine block debris.

Hazard

Connecting rod bearing failure could result in a loss of engine power and/or engine seizure which may result in an accident without warning.

Remedy

Chrysler Australia Pty Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles. Alternatively contact your Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge distributor/dealer, at your convenience, to schedule a service appointment.
