Defect

Due to insufficient tensioning of the steering bevel lock-nut on affected trucks within the VIN range, there is the possibility that the lock-nut may loosen.

Hazard

Insufficient tensioning of the steering bevel may lead to loss of steering control.

Remedy

Letters will be sent to affected owners. The steering bevel lock-nut tension will be checked and, where necessary, the steering bevel assembly will be replaced free of charge.
