Defect

The harness sleeve located at the connection of the tailgate and the body is not secured in a manner that can be guaranteed over time.

Hazard

After a number of tailgate movements, damage may occur to electrical wires which could lead to functional problems with various electrical equipment linked to the tailgate.

Remedy

Citreon shall contact all customers advising them to bring their vehicles into the dealerships for checking and if necessary replacing the tailgate harness.
