Defect

The chain guide bracket is not welded properly on the swingarm. This could result in weld cracking which may cause the drive chain to derail from the rear sprocket.

Hazard

If the drive chain derails from the rear sprocket there is the potential for a crash to occur.

Remedy

Contact your authorised Kawasaki dealer to conduct the necessary repairs free of charge.
