Defect

Inadequate sealing of the ball joint on the left and right front axle upper control arms may lead to accelerated wear in the joint, which in time, could result in a separation of the ball pin from the joint housing. Should this occur normal steering control is no longer possible.

Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific Pty Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles. If you have sold the vehicle, please contact Mercedes-Benz via e-mail: campaigns@daimler.com.
