Defect

A defect may exist in the weld on the swing-arm. Under certain riding conditions the weld could crack and the swing-arm could fail, leading to a crash in which the rider could be severely injured.

Honda Australia MPE will write to all owners of affected units and request them to present their motorcycle to their nearest Honda dealer, at their earliest possible opportunity, where the inspection and repair will be carried out at no charge to the customer.
