On Caddy vehicles of the affected chassis number ranges the spring clamps on the rear axle may break because of poor heat treatment.

Owners of affected vehicles are being contacted by mail and are requested to contact an Authorised Volkswagen Service Centre to have the spring clamps replaced. Further information is available from Volkswagen Assist on 1800 637 181.
