Recall date: 8 June 2006
There is a potenial safety concern that relates to the knuckle arm fixing bolts. The longer of the two bolts has been incorrectly manufactured and has not been heat treated inline with the desired specification. This may cause the bolt head to snap off and then transfer the entire load to the one remaining bolt. If this remaining bolt was to fail there is the potential that the driver could lose control of the vehicles steering system.
Injury or death.
