Defect

In the airbag system of the subject vehicles, due to Incorrect assembly process of the airbag inflator, which is used in the curtain sheild airbag and the knee airbag systems, some inflators were produced with an insufficient amount of the heating agents, which apply heat to the argon gas in the inflator. In this condition, expansion force of the gas in the inflator may be insufficient to properly inflate the airbag when the airbag system is activated during a collision.
