Defect

Potential exists for a park brake bracket within the rear brake assembly to crack, particularly where the parking brake is used frequently or with force. Should the component crack, the potential exists for it to dislodge and become wedged within the brake mechanism. Rear brake wheels could lock without warning & cause vehicle to skid.

Vehicle accident (skid).
