Defect

The No 1 rear suspension arm may have been incorrectly welded. In instances where the weld is not to specification the arm may break at the bush housing weld area and in the worst case vehicle directional control may be affected.

Hazard

Equipment malfunction.

Remedy

All owners will be contacted individually by letter requesting that they return to an authorised Toyota dealer to have the rectification carried out.
