Defect

The turbocharger has caused increased blow-by and high crankcase pressure during exhaust braking, which in turn caused over revving of the D16 engine.

Hazard

Mechanical failure.

Remedy

Owners of the 33 trucks involved in the recall will be contacted by Scania.
