Defect

Due to improper moulding of the impeller of the electric fuel pump, alcohol contained in the fuel may cause impeller to distort and contact the fuel pump body resulting in seizure of the fuel pump.

Hazard

Seizure of fuel pump.

Remedy

Owners will be notified by letter, or contact your local Toyota dealer.
