Defect

The brake booster intensifier may have an incorrectly machined groove on the hydraulic piston, where the piston cup is located. The incorrect machining may cause insufficient sealing at the piston cup area and repeated brake application and release could cause a mechanical malfunction.

Hazard

Brake Failure.
