It is possible that the Park Brake pedal may contact the vehicles wiring loom. This contact may chafe the loom.

Hazard

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles are being contacted by mail and requested to contact an authorised Volkswagen Service Centre to have the park brake pedal inspected. The recall will be performed at no charge to owner.
