Defect

The U-bolts fitted to the rear suspension may be subjected to hydrogen embrittlement during the manufacturing process, which may cause too higher material hardness. A consequence to this is that the U-bolt at the rear suspension could break.

Contact your authorised Volvo Dealer as soon as possible to arrange to have the vehicle rectified free of charge.
