A fuel pulsation damper is located at the end of the fuel rail to reduce fuel pulsation generated by the fuel injectors. The fuel pulsation damper was improperly assembled during manufacture which may have resulted in damage to the diaphragm.
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by letter. For further information contact your authorised Toyota dealer.
