Defect

A component within the brake assembly may not meet manufacturing specifications. . If the component is not manufactured correctly the brake calliper will not operate correctly, the result of this would be a reduction in expected braking performance and handling of the vehicle.

Hazard

A loss of braking performance may increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Affected vehicles owners to contact their McLaren Dealer to make an appointment to have the work carried out at no charge
