Defect

The rear head rests may not be fitted correctly. As a result they may move or detach from the seat in an event of an accident.

Hazard

If the head rest moves or becomes detached it could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Mercedes-Benz and are asked to make arrangements with their nearest authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership to have the work carried out as soon as possible.
