Defect

If moisture and dust get in between the electrical guide ways on the lamps Printed Circuit Board (PCB) or between the reflector and the PCB it could lead to a 'soft' short circuit.

Hazard

In the event of a short circuit, the wiring harness may overheat, which may result in a fire.

Remedy

Consumers will be contacted by direct mail. Consumers should contact their closest authorised Volvo Group Australia (VGA) repairing dealerships to arrange for inspection and repair as soon as possible.
