Defect

Self-adjusting function in the brake caliper housing out of function, resulting in reduced braking performance when applying the parking brake or when using the service brake.

Hazard

Reduced braking performance when applying the parking brake or service brake, increasing the risk of an accident and/or injury to the occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Affected owners will be contacted by direct mail and advised to contact their nearest Volvo Group Australia repairing dealer to arrange an inspection and repair of the vehicle if required.
