A sharp edge in the rear centre seat belt anchor bracket may damage the seatbelt webbing for that seat during a collision.
If this were to occur, in the worst case, the seat belt webbing may be compromised and not properly restrain the rear centre occupant. There is an increased risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants.
Until the seat belt anchor has been repaired, consumers are strongly advised to avoid passengers using the rear centre seat position.
