On affected vehicles there is a possibility that the seat belt anchorage bolts may not have been tightened to the correct torque specification after the installation of the reversing camera.
An incorrectly tightened seat belt anchorage bolt could compromise seat belt performance, increasing the possibility of injury during a collision.
Affected owners will be contacted by direct mail. Owners should contact their nearest Toyota dealer to arrange for an inspection of the seat belt anchor bolts.
