Defect

There is a possibility that an incorrect specification airbag assembly was installed during the vehicle assembly process.

Hazard

Incorrect specification airbag increases the risk of injury to occupants during a crash.

Remedy

Owners will be contacted by mail, inviting them to make an appointment with their preferred Toyota Dealer to have the airbag assembly replaced at no charge. For further information phone the Toyota recall campaign helpline on 1800 987 366.
