Defect

The electric power steering assistance may be interrupted due to improper harness layout and terminal wear. Manual steering control is maintained.

Hazard

Unexpected loss of power steering assistance, increasing the risk of a low speed accident.

Remedy

Toyota 86 owners will be notified by mail at their last known address, inviting them to make an appointment with their preferred Toyota Dealer to have the rectification carried out free of charge.
