Defect

The wiring harness malfunction may potentially lead to a short circuit within the vehicle’s electrical systems.

Hazard

If a short circuit occurs whilst driving, this may pose a hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

The Recall Rectification Procedure consists of inspection, insulation or replacement of any damaged wiring within the wiring harness and the installation of a urethane foam countermeasure designed to prevent any further contact between the wiring harness and the metal plate.
