Defect

In some instances, the front driver air bag may not inflate to its fullest capacity fast enough when required.

Hazard

If the air bag doesn't inflate fast enough, in the event of an accident there is an increased risk of injury to vehicle occupants.

Remedy

Volkswagen will contact owners of affected vehicles about how to arrange an inspection and repair. Customers who would like further information can contact the Skoda Recall Campaign Hotline on 1800 504 076 (Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 8pm AEST).
