Defect

Buses may have an incorrectly manufactured cable harness connected to the circuit board. This may cause electrical joints to overheat, potentially causing a fire.

Hazard

If a fire occurs, there is a risk of an accident or injury to vehicle occupants, other road users and property.

Remedy

Scania Australia will contact all affected consumers. Consumers are advised to contact their Scania dealer or branch to make an appointment to have the repairs carried out, free of charge.
