Defect

There may be insufficient engagement of the parking brake, due to excessive internal tolerances of the rear brake calipers.

Hazard

The vehicle may not be sufficiently restrained when the parking brake is applied. The vehicle may move and increase the risk of an accident, causing injury to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.

Remedy

Consumers should contact an Authorised Peugeot Dealership to arrange a suitable time to have the rear brake calipers replaced.
