Defect

The tightening torque of the spare wheel support mountings might not meet specifications, which may cause the spare wheel to become loose and risk falling off.

Hazard

The spare wheel may drop onto the road/ground, posing an accident or injury risk to vehicle occupants or other road users.

Remedy

Peugeot Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred Authorised Peugeot dealer to have the spare wheel support mount fixing checked and if necessary replaced.
