Defect

An internal component within the clutch assembly may fail, preventing clutch disengagement which could result in the transmission failing to engage neutral when commanded by the driver.

Hazard

The defect could affect the function of the parking brake, causing the vehicle to move and increasing the risk of an accident.

Remedy

Navistar Inc will contact owners of attached vehicles to arrange an inspection of the clutch. If required, the clutch will be replaced, free of charge. Owners can locate their nearest authorised International dealer via the website: https://australia.internationaltrucks.com/dealer-locator
