Category: Heavy Vehicle Β· Supplier: Unknown
Recall date: 23 June 2014
Due to insufficient clamping force, the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) hoses fitted to the Duonic transmissions of affected vehicles may separate at the clamps to the steel pipes to which theyβre connected. The possibility of this occurring is greater in cold weather. As a consequence, an ATF hose could detach, allowing the leakage of transmission fluid.
If this occurs, there is the possibility that the transmission will not operate causing the vehicle to become undriveable. This could cause a hazard to other road users.
A letter will be sent to the owners of affected vehicles
