Defect

Incorrect operation of the ASC safety system software may cause safety features to disable momentarily. There are several vehicle safety features controlled by the ASC safety system. Where equipped these include: Adaptive Cruise Control Forward Collision Mitigation Brake Auto Hold Hill Start Assist Super All-Wheel Control

Hazard

If the ASC safety systems disable unexpectedly, there may be an increased risk of an accident.

Remedy

Mitsubishi Motors Australia will contact all known owners, and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred dealer. Rectification is free and can be performed by any Mitsubishi Motors dealer.
