Defect

The ground connection of the front passenger airbag may not meet the specifications. This may mean that an electrostatic charge could not be diverted via the ground connection and may trigger the front passenger airbag.

Hazard

The front passenger airbag may randomly inflate, increasing the risk of an accident and/or serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
