Defect

The materials used in the oil lines may not meet the correct specifications. This can result in oil leakages while the vehicle is in operation.

Hazard

If a leak occurs, the oil could come into contact with hot components of the vehicle and cause a fire. This could result in serious injury to the vehicles occupants and other road users.
