Recall date: 28 July 2020
The front seat belt buckle housings may not have been correctly manufactured. A correctly-fastened seat belt could be detected as not fastened. If this occurs, a seat belt warning light will remain illuminated and a warning will sound when the vehicle is driven. In the case of an accident, neither of the vehicle's seatbelt tensioning systems would be activated.
If the front seat belts do not operate properly, occupants wearing the seat belts may not be properly restrained. This could result in serious injury or death to vehicle occupants in the event of an accident.
