Defect

The propellant mix of certain front seat belt tensioner squibs may not meet the specifications.

Hazard

The front seat belt tensioners may not deploy. If the vehicle is involved in an accident, the front occupants of the vehicle may be at increased risk of injury.

Remedy

Consumers should contact their nearest Mercedes-Benz Retailer for replacement of the front seat belts. Further information about the recall can be obtained from any Mercedes-Benz dealership.
