Defect

The daytime running lights (DRL) may flicker or fail to illuminate while driving.

Hazard

DRLs that do not function as intended make the vehicle less conspicuous in traffic and may increase the risk of an accident and injury to the vehicle occupants or other road users.

Remedy

Mazda Australia will contact all affected consumers. Consumers will be advised to present their vehicle to their preferred Mazda Dealer for inspection and repair, at no charge. For further information, consumers should contact Mazda Customer Support on 1800 034 411.
