Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the rear brake pipe may leak brake fluid.

Hazard

If the rear brake pipe leaks, this may result in a loss of braking performance or loss of braking ability, which can increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Affected consumers should contact their local authorised LDV dealer to make an appointment to have the repair work carried out, free of charge. For further information, please contact an authorised LDV dealer or call LDV Customer Assist on 1800 709 832.
