Defect

A pneumatic valve in the Hill Start Assist system may be incorrectly connected.

Hazard

If this valve is connected incorrectly, air supply to the rear brakes may be disrupted, increasing the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Owners will be contacted and advised to make an immediate appointment with their nearest PACCAR Australia dealer to arrange for a technician to inspect and repair the vehicle.
