Defect

The programmed setting on the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) is incorrect.

Hazard

The ECU (Electronic Control Unit) may cause the vehicle to unexpectedly stall. This poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.

Remedy

A letter will be sent to affected owners. Consumers can contact their local Kawasaki Motorcycle Dealership and book their motorcycle in to be checked and repaired if necessary. Dealerships can be searched here www.kawasaki.com.au/dealers/find-a-dealer.
