Defect

Some vehicles may experience a stuck clutch, resulting in a transmission-commanded shift to neutral.

Hazard

A switch to neutral may cause an unexpected loss of motive power. This could increase the risk of an accident and injury to a vehicle occupant or other road users. In the event of a serious accident this may result in death.

Remedy

FCA Australia Pty Ltd will contact all affected owners by mail and invite them to visit their nearest Chrysler Jeep Dodge (CJD) dealer to have their Transmission Control Module reprogrammed, free of charge.
