Defect

If the regenerative brakes fail, the friction braking system may not perform as quickly as required.

Hazard

If the regenerative brakes fail and the friction brakes do not respond as quickly as required, stopping distance will increase. This may pose a hazard to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Remedy

Jaguar will notify affected owners and owners will be invited to take their vehicle to their preferred authorised Jaguar Land Rover retailer for an upgrade to the vehicle's software.
